Join the Journey to Genius
50,000. That’s how many ideas flow through our minds every single day.
Ideas have been under some fire recently, as they are often described as the lack of the ability to execute. “Idea means nothing without execution” is an idea that is absolutely correct, but it detracts from the importance of possibility.
Instead of making people feel terrible for having an idea, we should be asking, “Why don’t people execute against an idea that they have?”
Is it the anxiety related to execution? Often times a path forward is not clear, especially with an idea that might seem unique and novel.
Is it the fear of your idea flopping? We all want our idea to be THE ONE that people cling to, fall in love with, and eventually makes us a millionaire.
Is it time?
Or, is it the feeling that ideas are simply these fleeting moments that we have in our spare time?
Every idea won’t be the winner (and that’s okay), but with the right attitude and nourishment, one decent idea could have a lot of impact on something you care about.
What I’ve realized over this past year was this simple truth: we allow fear to drive most of our decisions, attitudes, and beliefs, unconsciously. We walk around already telling ourselves that an idea is impossible because we are afraid that it might not make sense, that it will fail, or that it might be too good.
The So Genius campaign was born from the belief that ideas are important. They are the foundation of change and innovation. While execution is of the utmost importance for that change and innovation to occur, one must first believe in the power of their ideas in order to see a clear path forward.
Our goal is to guide you through the journey of your Genius. Some people are execution focused, and are genius as fuck at executing. Others are visionaries, and can create a concept in a second, but need more guidance getting to the end goal.
I’ve been there. The sin of perfection has caused me to sit on ideas with a feeling that every little detail needed to be right before the idea saw the light of day.
Going from idea to execution requires accountability, focus, good energy, the removal of fear, and most importantly belief in self.
We hope that you join this journey with us so that we can help you turn your ideas into something tangible that liberates and empowers others.
